This policy is written to function as both our privacy policy and, where required, our notice at collection. If a local privacy law gives you additional rights, we will honor those rights when that law applies to Carinfo.AI.

Who We Are

Carinfo.AI provides a private collector-car intelligence and underwriting workspace. In this policy, "Carinfo.AI," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Carinfo.AI service.

Cookies, Logs, And Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, server logs, and similar technologies for authentication, security, remembering user sessions, measuring performance, diagnosing errors, and improving the product. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Disclose Information

  • Service providers and processors that host, store, authenticate, secure, monitor, analyze, or otherwise help us operate Carinfo.AI.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and security consultants.
  • Authorities, courts, counterparties, or others when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.
  • A successor or potential successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
  • Other users only where the information is public market or vehicle data, or where you intentionally make information available. Your private workspace content is intended to remain tied to your account.

No Sale Or Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information. We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or process personal information for targeted advertising as those terms are used in many U.S. state privacy laws. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any legally required opt-out mechanism.

Sensitive Information

Carinfo.AI is not designed to collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, payment card numbers, precise geolocation, health information, biometric identifiers, or information about children. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into free-text notes unless it is necessary for your use of the service.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including account authentication, access controls, database security controls, and operational monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for using a strong password and keeping your account credentials private.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the service, and keep appropriate business records. Retention periods vary by data type, context, and legal need. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, deidentify it, or retain it only as permitted by law.

Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to Carinfo.AI, you may have the right to:

Children's Privacy

Carinfo.AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
